About the event

The internet is considered one of the most important technology capabilities in history. While the technology has evolved considerably since its inception,  it continues to rapidly evolve, mostly to address gaps and drive major improvements. The rise of the decentralized web (Web 3.0) technologies is starting to mature distributed ledger (Blockchain), digital ownership (Non-Fungible Tokens) and digital compensation (Crypto currencies) technologies. Dr. Melvin Greer, Intel Fellow and Chief Data Scientist will detail the impact of Web 3.0 technologies and explain how they enable individual sovereignty and allow individuals to connect to an internet where they can own and be properly compensated for their time and data.
